ANTIBACTA - usage
Use ANTIBACTA at the rear of cattle beds (where the udders touch) to kill bacteria. Combine this with frequent cleaning of the beds and you have an extremely effective weapon and direct control of the causative bacteria. ANTIBACTA substantially reduces colonies of these virulent bacteria. (Some causative bacteria can double in number every 20 minutes!)
- For best results, the stall should be thoroughly cleaned prior to using the ANTIBACTA bedding additive.
- Apply ANTIBACTA generously (several handfuls) to the rear of the beds where the udders touch as the cattle lie down.
- Apply ANTIBACTA at least once a day, after sweeping the beds thoroughly clean.
- We recommend that the beds are swept and ANTIBACTA bedding additive is applied at every milking. This will give the maximum protection against mastitis-causing bacteria.
- It is also recommended that the cattle be made to remain standing for at least 20 minutes after milking. This will allow teat canals to close up, thus preventing the ingress of bacteria.
