100% softwood pine shavings, manufactured from high-quality untreated softwood. Big Flake is specifically produced for the equine industry, using a process designed to offer maximum hygiene and consistent quality.
Exceptional absorbency
Big Flake Shavings are cut and planed to create a curl, then dried in a bio-fuel drier to guarantee optimum moisture content. This produces a material that not only helps to aerate the bed, but which has a very high absorbency rate.
Minimal dust content
All shavings are put through a sophisticated screening and dust extraction process before baling to ensure that Big Flake is virtually dust-free. This is vital in the prevention and treatment of allergies and respiratory disorders, as well as making Big Flake ideal for animals susceptible to COPD.

Big Flake is supplied double-wrapped from top to bottom in hygienic packaging, perfect for long-term storage in all conditions.
