Due to continued growth and success, Platts Animal Bedding have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Team Manager to come and lead the sales team in a dynamic fashion.
The company
Platts are an innovative organisation selling specialist animal bedding to an impressive portfolio of clients - from Dairy Farms to large buying groups. We have been trading for over 35 years and have built a solid business with a number of trademarked brands.
The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the general management of a team of professional sales executives. Tasks will include training and development, performance management and recruitment.
You will be required to develop sales of bedding products to our existing portfolio of clients, as well as acquiring new customers. You will operate with confidence and authority in order to achieve / exceed daily / monthly personal and team targets.
The candidate
Ideal candidates will have previous team management experience, ideally within the agricultural sector, and be committed not only to their own development and success but also to that of their team. This will be a hands on role where you will be expected to lead by example.
