The current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak presents a significant global challenge.

Platts Animal Bedding value the health and wellbeing of our employees, and those we come into contact with.  We are committed to providing a safe working environment and ensuring business continuity to the best of our abilities.

We understand our customers rely on Platts to deliver our quality products alongside a reliable service, and keep your businesses running efficiently. We’re currently working to dispatch orders placed within the week for those products we have in stock.

Please bear in mind as the situation unfolds, this timescale may change. We do encourage you to check your stocks and be prepared for longer delivery times, should the situation escalate -and raw materials become less available within the marketplace.

Non-essential visitors to our office will not be admitted- and customers collecting from site will be required to follow procedures to protect our workforce.

  • Our offices and premises continue to be cleaned regularly and we have provided additional cleaning materials.
  • We have revised our business continuity procedures, to contemplate remote working options where possible.
  • We have a comprehensive stock of Finebed and are still currently able to fulfil orders within usual timescales.

If you are affected by a cough or temperature – please do avoid contact with our drivers on delivery- and make them aware of any instructions via telephone when they call on route. Please refrain from coming to our offices/site to collect if you believe you’re a risk. We appreciate your cooperation currently.

We will continue to monitor and respond appropriately to updates from the Government, Public Health Wales and other sources.  We wish you well during this challenging time and are here to support you and your business.  Please contact us if you have any specific questions on 01978 854666 or email sales@plattsanimalbedding.co.uk .
